Please help Timothy recover from stomatitis.

Flying Pigs Sanctuary rescued Timothy, a supposedly “feral” cat, from a local colony.

And when they said pick up, they literally meant pick up.

No trap. No drama. They simply scooped this sweet guy up and quickly realized there was absolutely nothing feral about him. What they also realized was that Timothy was in pretty rough shape.

He was covered in fleas and ticks, his eye was cloudy and clearly injured, and after his low-cost neuter, they knew releasing him right back outside simply wasn’t an option.

Thankfully, they were able to place Timothy in foster care, where he could decompress and get the individual attention he desperately needed. That’s when they discovered another problem: terrible stomatitis. His gums were so inflamed and painful that eating was difficult.

They got him back to the vet to have his mouth and cloudy eye evaluated. Thankfully, there was nothing seriously wrong with his eye, and an antibiotic injection has worked wonders on his gums.

Timothy is feeling SO much better.

Timothy deserves this chance, and so does the next friendly colony cat we meet.

Please consider donating toward Timothy’s medical care. Every dollar they can recoup allows them to keep showing up for their community, keep helping these colonies, and most importantly, keep saying YES when “just TNR” turns into a life that can be completely changed.

Because sometimes the best part of TNR is realizing the “R” doesn’t have to mean return.
