Help This Sweet Puppy Heal From Severe Mange

When an urgent call came in from VEG Emergency Hospital in Pembroke Pines, Saving Sage Animal Rescue Foundation knew they couldn’t turn away.

This tiny puppy had been found alone on the street and was in desperate need of help. At such a young age, she should have been safe, comfortable, and cared for — instead, she was suffering from a severe case of demodex mange.

Demodex mange can cause intense itching, irritation, hair loss, and painful skin. For this little girl, the condition has left her extremely uncomfortable and in need of veterinary treatment, medications, and plenty of supportive care as her skin begins to heal.

Thankfully, she is now safe with Saving Sage, but her recovery is only beginning. She needs continued medical attention to manage her mange, keep her comfortable, and monitor her progress as she works toward becoming the happy, healthy puppy she was always meant to be.
