About this campaign

Wallie is my 2-year-old domestic shorthair. He is loving, affectionate, and sometimes very clingy. I met him while looking to adopt a companion for my other cat. He was in a cage with his siblings but was the only one interacting with me. Even on our first meeting, he won me over with his sweet personality, and I knew he belonged with me.

Wallie is having trouble using the bathroom and may have a urinary tract blockage. This started last week and is continuing. Because a blockage can be an emergency, he needs to be evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible. I’m still learning what treatment he may need, but I expect testing and emergency care may be necessary.

Wallie means everything to me and my family. He is incredibly sweet and affectionate once he trusts you. He loves being close and always wants to be around us. He brings so much love and happiness into our home, and I cannot imagine losing him. He is still so young, and I want to give him every chance to recover and come home healthy.

Wallie’s emergency came at a difficult time. I was recently laid off and just started a new job. I also have another cat with seizures who needs medication. His care may cost around $5,000, which I can’t afford. Any help means so much.
