Wally’s Second Wish: Help Save His Eyesight

Wally is just one year old, and he should have his whole life ahead of him. Instead, this sweet Rottweiler was on the euthanasia list at our overcrowded city shelter when Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) stepped in to save him.

He did nothing wrong. He is pure love.

Wally’s first wish was granted: he is still alive. Now we need your help to grant his second wish—to live pain-free and keep his vision.

Wally urgently needs double entropion surgery. Entropion is a painful condition in which the eyelids roll inward, causing the fur and eyelashes to constantly rub against the cornea. This can lead to pain, excessive tearing, squinting, corneal ulcers, and potentially permanent damage to his vision if it is left untreated.

Wally is such a young boy, and he deserves the chance to grow up without living in pain. He deserves to see the world around him, play, explore, and enjoy the long and happy life he should have had all along.

But right now, Wally cannot have his surgery until the funds are raised. We don't want this young dog to have to wait any longer than necessary for the care that could give him relief and protect his vision.
