About this campaign

Meet Willow. Her story is one that breaks the hearts of Joyner's Furr-eedom Rescue, who saved her. Thankfully, it’s also a story of survival, healing, and finally being safe.

Willow was found as a stray after already having multiple litters of puppies and enduring a life no dog should ever have to live. Before they were able to step in and save her, Willow had been attacked twice. She was hurting, infected, exhausted, and simply trying to survive.

Willow recently underwent a spay-abort and received treatment for her wounds and infections. And this incredible girl is healing amazingly. Day by day, she is learning what it feels like to finally be safe.

And despite everything she has endured, Willow has held onto the sweetest part of herself. She is a 77-pound, large-breed black Pitbull with the tiniest little white spots—but what stands out most about her isn't her size or her beautiful face, or the scars of survival left behind. It's her heart.

She is the sweetest, kindest, most loving little wiggle butt you could ever meet. She greets life with a happiness that makes you wonder how a dog who has been through so much can still have so much love to give. You would never know by meeting Willow what her life looked like before she came to us. And maybe that's what makes her so special.

If you are able to support this sweet girl by giving a small donation, Joyner's Furr-eedom Rescue would greatly appreciate it, along with Willow. We appreciate your continued support.
