About this campaign
I adopted Zeke and his mother from a nearby rescue organization. Zeke was found on the ground with umbilical cord still attached. Zita was rushed to surgery for pyometra. Ever since Zeke was a puppy he moved like a little old man and wasn't agile like his mother. I watch him bravely struggle everyday and yet he's such a happy sweet boy.
We've already dealt with large vet bills since adoption. Tx A&M has confirmed he has OCD - Osteochondritis dessicans in his back knees, front elbows and shoulders. He's going to have his elbows scoped Oct 21 and after recovery both knees will need to be replaced. I won't be doing both knees at the same time.
Zeke is so young and watching him play with his mom and my rescue cats is so heartwarming. He cannot run and jump like they can but he still tries to participate. He loves going to doggie daycare and they watch over him very closely. Frequently he's in private play with the staff and he enjoys that just as much. He has such a way of winning over anyone who meets him.
