Hi, this is Hendrix, a 5 year old male Tuxedo. I have taken him to 5 different vets over the past two years, because he has had nasal congestion, eye congestion, and trouble breathing, which led to 2 years of testing, to finally at a specialist after him now having an abscess full of mucus to confirm it is a foreign object stuck and a $6000k CT and Rhinoplasty.

I originally took Hendrix to Family Animal Hospital and they stated it was allergies, with no medication helping. Then took him to Primary Vet Care and they stated is was an infection, then took him to VCA Airport and they thought it was a fungal infection and then took him to VCA Fountain Valley to see the specialist who thought it was cancer, until after 6 months there he now has an abscess.

Hendrix is the kindest, mellow, gentle cat I have ever had. He lets me trim his nails, takes any medicine without a fight, loves dogs, and gives hugs everyday wrapping his paws around my neck and doesn’t let go until he feels fulfilled with love that he requests and deserves.

I am a single mom that has been trying to get myself and my two children out of an abuse situation for 3 years through our court system, which has been a nightmare and caused me drowning in attorneys fees. I had to sell my car and caring for Hendrix has maxed out.
