Henry is a two-month-old kitten in Huntington, WV, who needs $1,125 for emergency care.

Time is of the essence for Henry.

He was found abandoned near a community center with his eyes infected and swollen shut, leaving him helpless in unbearable pain.

One By One Animal Advocates' volunteers whisked Henry to an animal hospital.

"Henry is receiving veterinary care to see if his eyes can be saved," Heather A., with the nonprofit group, tells Waggle. "If not, he will need to undergo surgery to remove both eyes. Despite everything, he still purrs softly when being held or pet."
