Henry is a 8-year-old Terrier Mix in King William, VA, who needs $2,000 for ACL/CCL and Patella Luxation Repair.

In 2015 Henry was adopted from a shelter in Ashland Virginia. My dad wanted a small black dog, so Henry made a long drive to Akron Ohio where he lived with my dad until 2019 when he passed away. After my dad's passing in 2019 I was lucky enough to gain custody of my little buddy Henry. He helps me remember my dad even more everyday! He now lives with me in King William County Virginia.

Henry is very playful and friendly to kids, adults really anyone. He loves to play fetch and tug a war, and ion course snuggle .Henry is a ball of energy and also a little shadow to who ever he feels like shadowing at the moment.

HEnry is special not only because he was my dad's dog and he keeps his memory alive, but because Henry does silly things on a daily and is extremely smart. Henry can learn new things with in hours and remember it. when we adopted Henry @6 months old his name was Kane. He didn't know that was his name, but in a short 8 hour drive to Ohio he knew his name was Henry!

HEnry is being treated at Mechanicsville animal hospital in Mechanicsville Virginia. he is being treated for a right torn acl/ccl and patella luxation and left acl/ccl partial tear and patella luxation.

My boyfriend and I are both on disability and can not afford such an invasive surgery for Henry. Vet is telling us around $5000. Henry can barely walk and it would mean the world to my family if we can get him back on his feet running and playing quickly !
