Hera Is a 14-Year-Old Siamese in Hahira, GA, Who Needs $400 for Ear Issue Diagnosis, Ear Flush, Cleaning, and Treatment

Hera is my beautiful Siamese mix that happened into my life while I waited my for my puppy at the vet. She and her littermates had been dumped on the doorstep of my vet just that morning. She was just so sweet mewing at me from inside the big crate. She has always been the sweetest, calmest and most chill cat companion I’ve ever had.

A couple months ago I noticed that Hera’s right ear was puffed up. At first I thought maybe an insect bite since she spends a lot of time on the screen porch but after further looking it turned out to be a hematoma. She had been scratching at her ear so bad that she removed skin and made herself bleed. She’s been living in the cone while I have tried to figure out how I can get her treatment.

Before her hematoma/ear issues she used to always lay on my feet whenever I sat down to watch tv. Always purring, even now when I know she is miserable. She gets along with all her kitty siblings and is now the oldest of the group since the passing of her older sister and brother cats. She is just the sweetest and most calm cat there is and I just want her to feel better.

I am a single mother to a special needs child living on a fixed income. I do work part-time when my child is in school but it is never enough to help me get Hera to my vet. It would mean so much to have her happy and healthy again. She’s been more antisocial since this.
