About this campaign
On March 15, Hercules ran off through the back yard, and he was hit by a car which broke his front leg. I took him to the clinic for evaluation and only one treatment cost me $662.00. They told me that he need surgery to fix his leg and for the bones to heal properly, but, unfortunately, I don't have the funds right now and it will cost $2500.00 for the surgery
Hercules is very friendly with my family, but he doesn't like other pets. I adopted him when he was a puppy, and he likes to play with my grandsons. When I come back from work, he will start jumping and barking because I'm home, and he is very protective at night. Everybody in my family loves him, he is so friendly with people.
I'm currently working, but I am getting behind on the bills. This is temporary, and I know I will be back on my feet in the next few weeks, but I don't have the money for his treatment at this time.
Hercules is very healthy otherwise, but he needs surgery to fix his leg bones since the car accident. His front leg bones are broken and he is having a difficult to walking, and jumping. The vet clinic, Penny Paws, are the doctors who will treat the leg, and they gave us the option of surgery or amputation of his leg. We want so badly to save his leg so he can have a normal life.
Hercules is very protective, smart, and loving. I don't like to see him suffer, he is part of my family! We laugh when he barks at the TV when he sees dogs or hears a dog barking on the screen. He likes to follow a people along the fence as they go by, and walk with them. He likes to open water bottles, or any kind of bottle for that matter. Hercules is very obedient, silly and kind.
