About this campaign

We got Hercules as an 8-week-old puppy, but he was ours from the moment he was born. The names in our family have an inadvertent Hamilton the musical theme so we named him Hercules to join the theme. He is an energetic 3-year-old male dog who loves to play with his two fur sibling and his two human little boys.

His official diagnosis is carpal hyperextension of the right front leg, with a probable ligament tear, requiring a $5000-$6000 surgery to repair. If we don't do the surgery, the stability in his carpal joint will continue to decline resulting in more ligament tears and possible arthritis. He was seen at Omaha Animal Medical Group and is under the care of Dr. Knott

Hercules loves to play with his little fur sister and never met a toy he didn't like. His favorite game to play is fetch, which is unable to play due to his injury. He is a very affectionate boy and loves to climb on top of you when are laying down. He is fantastic with our two young boys as well as is very gentile when he plays with them.

We are currently living in my father's basement after having our rental home sold out from underneath us with fairly short notice. We are trying to save money to buy a home of our own and are living essentially paycheck to paycheck with no emergency fund.
