We’re so happy to share the final update on little Hiccup — and it’s the best news possible. Hiccup had his surgery to repair his diaphragmatic hernia, and we’re thrilled to report that he has recovered well. After coming into care struggling to breathe, this brave 4-month-old kitten now has the space his lungs needed to grow and function normally.

The procedure was a critical step in giving Hiccup a future, and he handled it like a champion. Since surgery, he has been healing beautifully — breathing comfortably, regaining his strength, and beginning to enjoy life the way a playful kitten should.
