Castaway Critters was hit with yet another hoarding situation. They did not skip a beat and loaded up the car full of crates for another extraction. Their team assembled, geared up, set up their stations, and got straight to work. By the end of the day, seven more cats had been pulled from unimaginable conditions and brought to safety.

There were no complaints, no hesitation, and no stopping—because these animals needed them.

Now that they're safe in their medical sanctuary, the real work begins. These sweet cats are covered in hundreds of fleas and suffering from worms, diarrhea, and possible upper respiratory infections. Many are frightened, withdrawn, and clearly unsure if they can trust the humans around them. To make matters worse, only one of the seven has been spayed or neutered.

Castaway Critters is beyond capacity. Every foster home, every medical pod, and every crate is full. They are currently caring for nearly 200 animals, yet they couldn't turn their backs on these cats.
