About this campaign

My husband and I adopted Hobbes and his sister Calvin at just a few weeks old and they have grown up together and welcomed our two children into our lives.

Hobbes was diagnosed with diabetes last week at Laytonsville Veterinary Hospital after several weeks of peeing outside the litter box, frequent thirst and urination, and rapid weight loss.

Hobbes is our sweet boy, he is sensitive and prefers to be cuddled when the room is calm which is hard to get in a house with two toddlers! However, he is patient with the kids and they give him lots of love.

The vet is hopeful for remission as it was caught quickly but the costs of insulin, syringes, glucose monitor, lancets, test strips, ketone tests, and special diet are adding up quickly and funds are limited, please help so I can get Hobbes the best care he needs.
