Hode is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in East Hartford, CT, who needs $2,000 for Aural Hematoma Surgery.

This is our sweet boy Hode. We rescued him 8 years ago. He was the perfect addition to our family. He is such a fun, loving cat. He loves to look out the window at the birds and lay in the sun coming in the windows.He is the best big brother to his 4 legged siblings and his human ones too.

Our poor boy had an ear that swelled up. We immediately took him to the vet where they said he has an aurora hematoma and an ear infection. The vet prescribed meds and drained the hematoma. The hematoma quickly returned and now is bigger. Our only option is surgery. Our baby is in pain and suffering. Our hearts are broken that we don’t have the funds to pay for the surgery at this time.

Hode is the definition of the perfect cat. He’s loving and friendly and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He loves to run around with his cat and dog siblings and is always the care taker to them. Hode is just a go with the flow kind of cat

We just used our saving to pay for an emergency surgery for one of our other animals and spent $600 on the drainage which didn’t help. He is suffering and in pain and it’s so unfair for him to suffer while we save up again
