Help Hodr Get His Second Chance at a Healthy Life

Meet Hodr! This incredible little boy spent months at animal control, where he spent his days huddled under a blanket. At only about 9 years old, he seemed much older because of his severe arthritis and near blindness. Time and again, he was passed by—until Chessed Foundation Rescue found him and gave him a chance.

Since arriving in rescue, Hodr has completely blossomed in his foster home. He is gaining confidence every day and has turned into an absolute Velcro dog, staying close to his foster mom like glue. In fact, it's a good thing he only weighs 4 pounds because Hodr loves spending his days zipped into her sweatshirt!

While his veterinarians don't feel there is much that can be done for his vision or joints, there is still an important step that can help give Hodr the best possible future. Chessed Foundation Rescue has made the decision to have him neutered, which will reduce his cancer risk and also help make him more adoptable.

After spending so long overlooked at the shelter, Hodr finally has a safe place to call home and people who believe in him. Now, we're asking for your help to cover the cost of his neuter so he can continue on his journey toward a long and healthy life.
