Holly lost nearly 80% of her fur, will you please help her?

At just 10 months old, Holly should have been enjoying puppyhood. Instead, she was found wandering the streets alone, starving, and fighting for her life. The moment we saw her, we knew we couldn't turn away.

When she was rescued, Holly weighed barely half of what she should have. Her tiny body was covered in scabs and fleas, and she had lost nearly 80% of her fur. She was weak, dehydrated, and suffering from severe malnutrition, Demodex mange, and painful flea dermatitis.

Holly was rushed to the emergency hospital, where she spent three days receiving lifesaving treatment before before she was finally stable.

Today, after just one week of dedicated care, Holly is already showing incredible resilience. She is gaining weight, her skin is beginning to heal, and her sweet personality is starting to shine through. Every day, she looks a little stronger and a little more hopeful.

But saving Holly came at a cost.

6/27/26 Update

Holly continues to improve. Her weight is nearing what it should be. All the scabbing from mange and fleas is gone, and her hair is coming back beautifully. We are working on resource guarding, which is very understandable given her extreme neglect!!! She is surrounded by stepbrothers and sisters, which has helped her transition to normal. She expresses her appreciation by endlessly nosing me until she is acknowledged. We look to get the remainder of her vetting in the coming weeks, assuming her recovery continues as it has. Stay tuned, and thanks everyone who is following this precious girl.

Thanks to all of you, Holly continues to improve, and her weight is nearing what it should be. All the scabbing from mange and fleas is gone, and her hair has come back beautifully. She has now been adopted into her forever home!
