Homer & Emmett are 5-year-old Domestic Longhairs in Sparks, NV, who need $2,000 for Dental Procedure Feline.

I rescue stray cats. 6 years ago I took in Bitsy who had been abandoned in the desert, and she turned out to be pregnant. Homer and Emmett are brothers from her litter of 7. Bitsy had herpes when she gave birth, so all the kittens were sick the first couple months of life.I lost Bitsy last year to kidney failure, but the other siblings, MooCow, Simone, Timmeh and Token are all doing beautifully.

Homer, who was named after Homer Simpson, and Timmeh (named after the South Park character) are best friends and love sleeping together. Emmett was named after the special piece in the Lego movie. He is the most friendly and outgoing of all his siblings and loves to terrorize his sister, MooCow (who is white with black spots and looked like a tiny cow when she was born).

I'm on disability for my crippling depression and anxiety. My cats are my world. I would do anything for them, including going without, but that's still not enough to pay for their care. I 'm told this procedure will help them live the long, happy lives they deserve.

The vet recommended full dental extractions for both of them to relieve the pain in their mouths that was preventing them from being able to eat normally and keep up their weight. Unfortunately, cat dental work is as expensive as people dental work, and I am unable to pay the procedure for each cat. Since I am a new client, Advanced Pet Care is not willing to work with me on payments.

Homer and Emmett were born to a mother with herpes, and I didn't think the babies were going to make it, they struggled so much in those early days. But by the time they were a year old, everyone was healthy and thriving. Unfortunately, about 6 months ago, they started losing weight. After several trips to the vet, it was determined that they were suffering from stomatitis.
