Honey is a 7 month old Miniature Poodle puppy that lives with her human mom, Maria, and her Maltese brother, Snoopy. She's such a sweet puppy and she used to love going to the daycare her mom worked at and seeing all the people

One day at daycare, Honey got too close to a dog that was guarding something, and the other dog attacked her. Although the other dog wasn't trying to bite, just chase Honey away, the size difference between them was so great that the other dog knocked Honey down a lot and trampled over her. It only lasted a moment, but the dog knocked Honey's head into the ground, and her jaw broke.

Honey is such a sweet, special puppy. She loved going to daycare and sitting up front with the receptionists. The staff would come in for breaks and Honey would come running up and do a little begging motion with her paws, asking for attention. We would scoop her up and put her in our laps, and she'd be happy there for a little while before she'd jump down again and run to the next person.

The daycare called it human error and refused to pay anything towards Honey's surgery. Her mom can't afford the $9000 dollar surgery and didn't qualify for aid. The other dog's owner was able to pay some with a credit card, but can't afford to pay the card or the rest.
