About this campaign
My baby, Honey, is six years old.
I rescued her on a very rainy evening after she escaped from a pit breeding ring. She always watches out for her Chihuahua brother, Chillee Arthur. Once, she protected my home during a break in. We live in Lake Dallas.
Dr. Waite at Mid Cities Animal Urgent Care Center diagnosed Honey with a tumor on her back left leg this past Sunday. She believes it is cancerous. Dr. Waite recommends having the tumor removed via surgery & sent off for a biopsy. I have an appointment on Saturday with Texas Foundation for a second opinion. I am requesting financial assistance for the appointment, bloodwork, surgery, & a biopsy.
Honey's favorite game is "chase stick," and she loves playing it together at the lake. She is extremely protective of me. She is energetic around my close friends and family. I love lying my head across her midsection while we take a nap together. One cute behavior is she loves to rock in my recliner before winding down for bed.
This is an unexpected expense, and unfortunately, I do not have pet insurance nor savings. I also did not qualify for Care Credit. Rent is due and I am having trouble paying bills. I cannot afford medical treatment, and the vet wants to have surgery sooner than later.
