Honey is a three-month-old Lab mix puppy in Raleigh, NC, who needs $2,000 for emergency care.

Honey is in an animal hospital fighting for survival and trying to beat the odds.

Rusty's Rescue Ranch saved the puppy from an animal shelter. Honey was neglected and never received medical care for a rapidly growing fungal infection. The infection spread to her lungs, and she developed dangerous fungal pneumonia. She now has a 50/50 chance of surviving.

But with your financial generosity, the rescue can afford to keep Honey in the animal hospital getting round-the-clock care. "This is very expensive and difficult to watch in a young puppy," Frances M., with the rescue, tells Waggle. "She is such a lovely dog and deserves to get better. We want to see Honey have a better life."

Before Honey took a turn for the worse, she was full of life and has so much potential.

"Honey is a super playful and loving dog," Frances says. "She loves her sister and loves to play in the sun all day and enjoy the company of her sister. She is usually a very active and adventurous little girl. That is until she started rapidly declining."
