About this campaign

When rescuers first spotted Honey in a cat colony, his white fur gleamed in the sunlight—but that same sunlight was slowly hurting him. White cats like Honey are heartbreakingly vulnerable to skin cancer when left outdoors, and his delicate ears and face already showed signs of painful irritation.

A kind community trapper couldn’t bear to see him suffer and reached out to Adopt A Cat Foundation for help. That act of compassion changed everything.

Now safe indoors, Honey’s gentle personality is shining through—he’s curious, affectionate, and learning that people can be kind. But his skin and ears are still troubling him. He scratches constantly, and it’s clear he’s uncomfortable. Honey will be going to the vet for a thorough exam, diagnostics, and treatment to finally bring him relief.

Despite his rough start, Honey is curious, gentle, and learning to trust. He’s adjusting well to shelter life and is showing us every day that he’s ready to be someone’s beloved companion. But first, he needs to heal.

With shelters overcrowded and resources stretched thin, your support means everything. With so many cats in need, every dollar truly counts. Your gift today will help cover Honey’s medical care and give him the comfort, healing, and love he’s been waiting for.
