Hudson came into my life as more than just a pet, he’s been a steady, loving presence in our home. He’s a gentle, sweet, and headstrong Goldendoodle who loves being with his people, especially my son and me. We also have a younger dog, Remi, and Hudson has always been patient and nurturing with him, forming a special bond as his older companion.

Hudson recently had emergency surgery to remove a life-threatening intestinal blockage. He was improving at first but has since regressed and now needs IV medications and close monitoring. If he doesn’t improve, he may need transfer to Michigan State University for advanced, life-saving care.

Hudson has the most loving, soulful nature, paired with a headstrong personality that makes him uniquely himself. He makes deep eye contact and seeks connection in a way that feels deeply personal. He is especially bonded to me, always wanting to be near me as my shadow, and has been a constant source of comfort and companionship. His gentle, nurturing nature extends to our younger dog as well.

Hudson has already undergone emergency surgery, but we are not out of the woods. He may need transfer to Michigan State University and possibly another surgery. He’s only 5, and I’m not ready to lose him. I’m asking for help to continue fighting for his life.
