Hugo is a 10 year old Dachshund in Ogden, UT, who needs $2,000 for Paracentesis or Abdominal Tap.

10 year ago my oldest son got Hugo at 3 months old he moved into apartment and was told he couldn't have pets so he asked me if I would take him till he could move into a pet friendly home. I said yes a few months go by and he found a place well Hugo and I became very close and my son saw what it was doing to me and said Dad Hugo is Yours I cried tears of joy I fell in love with him .

Hugo suffered congestive heart failure he has over come most of that from vet Borrett provided heart medicine as well as Ben Lomond veterinary. Now my best friend my companion my kid Hugo suffers that after effects of congestive heart failure fuild have built up in his stomach that need brained ASAP he's my heart and soul he tries so hard to play but the weight of his stomach won't let him.

My whole family is my Hugos friends even when I talk on the phone with any family members I turn it on speaker he crys for them barks sits up a begs which he can't do any more. Every time I come home with groceries he digs in ever sack looking for a baby toy he always finds it. He loves cats that run around the apartments he tries to play with them also he plays soccer with the kids.

I am on Disability social security and I barely pay the bills I had a little money saved for emergency it gone it went to the veterinary hospital to save his life . My Hugo is my everything he always knows when I am sad he would sit on my lap and look at me giving me love.
