I usual biked at night because it’s quiet and I like to see the strays as they go about their business. Usually they run when I cal. This particular night an orange tabby was crossing the street and when I called out to my surprise he ran right to me yelling his head off. I could see he had an eye infection so I couldn’t leave him. After nursing him back to health Ian became my heart.

May Ian developed and mass behind his ear and it is growing rabidly. A previous mass that was removed turned out to be cancerous so it is believed that this one will be too. Our doctor at Bellmore Veterinary Hospital feels that the procedure should be done as soon as possible.

I never met a cat like Ian before. He loves all humans and all animals. He’s usually quiet except when it’s time to eat he gets loud and seems to want to make sure how important it is that he eats asap. Since rescuing Ian 10 year ago He has become the beat in my heart and I need him to be well.

I was able to pay for the first lumpectomy years ago but after losing my job I don’t have any extra funds to pay for this one. This was not something I was expecting and when you’re barely keeping things afloat this is impossible task to pay for at this time.
