Iggy is a 6-year-old Pug in High Springs , FL, who needs $1,000 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

We adopted Iggy when he was first born around 6 to 8 weeks old. He was for our son and he has been a ball full of happy energy. He's not very old yet so we never expected something like this and pray that we can help him adjust to what's coming.

He has a lot of energy but he's a very happy dog and just seeing how excited he gets Everytime we walk out the door for a walk makes it just put a smile on your face and make you wish that you can remember a time with you absolutely loved everything and everywhere.

Mostly, I would say it's he's exuberant innocence that I admire so much. There's nobody he doesn't love and whatever you want to do, he's all in just as long as he gets to be near you.

We haven't taken him to the vet yet but I know what the problem is, Pug Myelopathy. The other day I accidentally stepped on his foot, no heavy by any means but I felt like he was walking funny which I didn't expect his leg to give out and I accidentally stepped on his foot but now his paw is dragging and he can't life his right leg to go pee. He can bend his leg but he doesn't like to.

From what I've read on the disease the final outcome will be paralysis. My hope is to just get him to a veterinarian who can diagnose him and then we can get a cart for him to use. They say they can still live full happy lives and that is my prayer for him.
