Indi is a 1-year-old in Caifornia, KY, who needs $1,700 for Indi’s Leg Amputation.

I found Indi on a free pets page on Facebook. I knew she was special as soon as I saw her photo so I drive 3 hours away to pick her up. The people I got her from just seemed like they were trying to get rid of her as soon as possible and didn’t ask any questions. We currently live on our own and with Indi’s beagle brother, Charlie. We regularly come to see memaw and peepaw to play with friend Nova

In our own household it is just myself, Indi, and Charlie. Indi is playful but Charlie is more laid back. We come to my parents house and she loves to play with their dog Nova and my nephew. She loves to follow around her memaw and run in the big yard with Nova. She enjoys wrestling with Nova or playing with toys alone. She is very well loved by her family.

Indi has the brightest blue eyes and biggest ears I’ve ever seen. Usually huskies tend to be talkers, but Indi is not vocal at all. She makes silly faces and is intelligent. At 10 weeks old she survived parvo, after being hospitalized for a week. She’s such a strong girl and has been a fighter since I met her.

I’m not completely sure what happened. We were visiting the farm and memaw let her outside. After not coming back inside when called, I found her and she wouldn’t get up. I rushed her to the ER where they did X-rays and found a severe break in her tibia at the growth plate. After the break not showing any signs of healing, we decided amputation would be the best route for her. Noah’s Ark Ft Wright

We recently had car trouble that resulted in purchasing a new car. It wiped all of our savings and happened just 2 days before her accident. She is my best friend and lights up every room she’s in. I hate knowing she’s in pain and will do anything to help her.
