About this campaign
Inkjet has defied every odd stacked against him, surpassing all expectations after his heart disease diagnosis. Because of his condition, he’s supposed to receive regular testing, but keeping up with that level of care is nearly impossible. Rescue Kitties of Hawaii is a small rescue, and they simply cannot afford the extensive medical support he requires.
Now, a year after his initial diagnosis, they’re overjoyed to share that Inkjet is doing better than anyone ever imagined. He’s on two different oral heart medications that have helped him manage his disease, but the vets at VCA need to see him again to adjust his meds and ensure he continues receiving the treatments that keep him stable.
On top of his heart condition, Inkjet needs a special Z/D diet each month for his Eosinophilic Granuloma. This food is costly, and his Atopica medication, something he will need for the rest of his life, is also very expensive. Providing Inkjet with the medical care he needs would be the greatest blessing, truly the best Christmas gift for him and for everyone who loves him so deeply.
He’s an odd lil duck, but the SWEETEST, most loving boy… every second counts, and we don’t take a single moment with him for granted. He is thriving, living a spoiled, happy, comfortable life—and I like to think he refuses to leave us.
4/22/26 Update
Rescue Kitties of Hawaii is still in desperate need of your help to care for Inkjet. They are heartbroken that they have not been able to get his echocardiogram because they lack the funds.
Just the bills from his recent vet visit, his special prescription diet food that they buy monthly, plus his daily heart meds are stacking up quickly. Please help support RKH and Inkjet. No amount is too small and is greatly appreciated.
6/5/26 Update
Thanks to you, Inkjet is doing really well and has an appointment to get an echocardiogram at the end of August. We are so thankful for your love and support as he continues on his healing journey.
