Iris has been a cherished member of our family for almost 5 years. She is a loving bully who has brought us comfort, laughter, and unconditional love every day. She isn’t just a pet—she’s family. She loves being close to us and has been a loyal companion through every season of life.

Iris was examined today at Tyson Animal Hospital and diagnosed with pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection that requires emergency surgery. She has been panting, refusing food, losing weight, and developed a pus-like discharge. Without surgery, her condition is expected to become fatal.

Iris has the sweetest personality and is always happiest when she’s with her family. She loves attention, cuddles, and simply being near the people she loves. Seeing her sick and in pain has been heartbreaking because she’s always been such a gentle, loving dog who brings joy to everyone around her.
