Iris is a rescue and lives a full life. She’s a special dog as with anyone but she carry’s a personality like no other. She’s a photogenic pup and loves to play fetch go on walks in the 24 hour sun. We come to find out she has bilateral Luxating patellas one is a grade 2 going into a grade 3. Pretty much her knee is starting to dislocate more frequently, need this so she can continue to play.

She has myself and my wife who is now 12 weeks pregnant so we are a family of 4. She protects and is just an all around daddy’s little girl. She is a beautiful pup who plays with both of us. Iris loves unconditionally and holds a ground for her family. She has never bitten anyone she always brings toys whenever she wants to play if you come in. She has a voice and loves to be chatted to as well.

She has a few friends. Anyone she meets wether it’s a 4 leg 2 leg just about anyone. She is a cuddled and takes up the bed whenever she can. She acts as a human such as knows how to control the remote and open stuff up. Iris loves the smell of chocolate she can’t have any but definitely it’ll attract her. She has two favorite toys lamb chop and her bday cake. She’ll bring them to you whenever.

Recently her hind legs started to pop whenever we would play. I took her into the on base vet and turns out her knee was popping in and out. Doctor says it will need surgery on both so I’m trying to cover one leg and it’s just getting overly expensive to do both. I want her to continue to jump around and have fun but the doctor did say the more she does this before surgery the worse it’ll get.

pup is a rock in our entire family. I’m active military PFC and they don’t offer any type of healthcare insurance for pets. I’ve exhausted all options care credit and everything. With having two luxating patellas they said it’d be about 3000 for both so I can only cover 1
