About this campaign
Iris came into my life my senior year of high school! She’s done absolutely everything with me from college, road trips, community service, lake! She is truly my soulmate. Yesterday around 11:30 am Iris was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. We learned that the cancer had made a hole in her right leg and was spreading quickly. The vet told us we needed to get her leg amputated quick and to start chemo.
Iris is what holds the family together she’s our sassy girl who loves attention. She loves to talk, loves to go on adventures, and never complains about anything. She loves everyone and anyone! Especially if they pet her love spot! Iris favorite love language is to be looked at, touched and acknowledged.🥺😂
I am currently a premed college student. I just recently picked up a job in hopes of saving up money for Iris and her procedures, but I need as much help as I can get. Our oncologist and emergency vet guided me to this website.
Iris was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. Which we learned is a very aggressive bone cancer. Osteosarcoma has been eating at her leg and we were told she needed to get an amputation ASAP. We have spoke with two local oncologist and are currently on waitlist until September 27th. We were given estimates at both vet offices and were completely torn by the fact we would not be able to afford it.
Iris is special to me because she symbolizes love. Iris was a gift my ex and I bought 4 years ago. She helped me heal through a lot of obstacles and never judge me in the process of becoming better. She is my guardian and has never failed to make me laugh and bring joy to those around her. Iris is without a doubt the best dog in the world
