About this campaign

Isaiah is our 3 1/2 year old Siberian husky fur baby. He is a rescue dog, but I personally question “Who rescued who?” He is so lively and playful. There’s never a bad day when Isaiah is around.

He loves long walks, chew toys, watching TV, sleeping at the end of the bed, raiding the pantry for snacks and “singing” at the most inappropriate times (i.e. when my neighbors are trying to sleep).

My husband and I have no children, so over the years we’ve adopted fur babies into our home from the local shelters. As expected, each one has their own unique personality. We currently have two babies in the home, and let’s just say that Isaiah is the attention hog. He has no problem nudging arms, bringing his brush or food/water bowl and dropping it at your feet to make his demands known.

This weekend, Isaiah was bit by something in our yard. He went into anaphylactic shock and suffered damage to his gallbladder. Diagnostics cost $400. As any parent of a fur baby knows, emergency vet visits can be costly, especially on the weekends. Isaiah has needed continuous care including epinephrine, IV fluids/meds, as well as a blood transfusion ($700+ by itself.) Projected cost are $3800.

We are asking that you please assist us in offsetting this expense. We don’t have pet insurance, but we want Isaiah to get better and come home safely to us. All donations, big or small, matter. We thank you in advance for your donations during our time of need.
