About this campaign
Isla means the world to us. She is a gentle, sweet, intelligent little soul. With all of the challenges of being a full-time student, Isla brings me so much comfort and peace and she is a therapy animal. She is a very sweet girl. She loves to play and learn new tricks. She can come, sit, shake a paw and hunt for treats that are hidden. She gets along with everyone and even when dogs come over, she is very curious and after some time she is receptive to them with enough encouragement. She is very active, engaged and yet also very snuggly and sweet and loves new experiences like riding in cars!
She is very curious and is very good at retrieving things if we hide them in toys. She likes to be close to us when we working and sleep near us. She notices everything and it doesn't take long to train her. She doesn't mind her harness and enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood!
I am asking for help with funding surgery for our cat Isla. She's about 6 months old and had an accident which now needs surgery to repair her right femur. She will need to have a femoral head ostectomy. I'm not one to typically ask for help, but I am a college student and can't afford such a pricey surgery. She was seen by Dr. Sellers at the Cat & Bird Clinic in Santa Barbara.
Isla means the world to me. She is a gentle, sweet, intelligent little soul. With all of the challenges of being a full-time student on a limited income, having Isla as my therapy cat brings me so much comfort and peace.
