Itim is one of the 5 kittens from a stray black cat. I had to raise one of them from newborn since it was rejected by the mama cat. Itim, and his 2 other brothers grew up, got neutered, and never missed a meal.

Itim and his brothers have been part of the 17 colony cats that I feed twice a day, in addition to my 8 indoor cats.

Itim, despite being an outdoor cat, is very sweet, loving, and honestly more of a lap cat than my indoor cats. He loves pets and wet food! My husband also jokingly calls him Nautica because of the mark on his front paw.

When it is raining, Itim tends to love under it and would ask you to wipe his fur after. Also, when I feed all cats, he wants the first taste of the food.

On Feb 4th, at lunchtime, Itim did not come to eat. I checked the footage and saw that he was limping on February 3rd, around 7:30 pm. Around 5:30 PM on Feb 9th, I found him lying by their food bowls, with swollen paw! Took him to the pet hospital where he was sedated, and his wound was debrided. Dr. Said the wound is extensive and he needs another one this Sun, Feb 11.

Taking care of pets is emotionally fulfilling, but honestly financially taxing. One of the cats that I feed had a urinary blockage 6 months ago & I had to pay over $3K , & another had injured paw which cost over $600. They are healthy now! I wish Itim would be the the same.
