Ivy is a 4-year-old Labrador in Bondurant, IA, who needs $715 for Sarcoma tumor surgery .

Ivy is a four year old silver lab, we brought her home at 10 weeks old and she has changed my family’s lives in the best way. Ivy loves to be outdoors. She LOVES tennis balls. She is the funniest, smartest pup around. Ivy is a showstopper, anyone who meets her, loves her and thinks she is so smart and beautiful!

Ivy’s human is our 8 year old son. They are best buds. She has slept with him since day one and they both absolutely adore one another. She has 3 total human siblings and 3 other four legged siblings. One elderly dog and two cats she likes to play w Ivy also loves her 11 year old 4 legged brother Rhudi. When people come over Ivy thinks they all came to see her and wants all the love and cuddles!

Currently my small business has closed the doors since the start of Covid and I’m currently unemployed. My husbands hours have also been cut back to 32 hours a week also due to the Covid. It would mean the world to my family to have Ivy happy and healthy once again!

Ivy has never had any medical issues, she has always been a healthy pup. The past few months we’ve noticed some lumps on her. One behind her ear and one on her left side. They took biopsies of. the lumps and one was a fatty tumor, and unfortunately the other was a Sarcoma Tumor. The vet (Dr Brittany Dyellman) recommends surgery to remove the mass. Our vet is Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital.

Ivy loves to gather us several tennis balls at once and have them all thrown to play catch. She has a crazy amount of energy and we have to call it quits when playing sometime because she won’t stop! She also likes to scratch her back along the carpet and go from one side of the house to the other on her back scratching herself. And best of all she has the best dog smile I’ve bet seen!
