Ivy came into my life 4 years ago when I was 14 years old. I spontaneously got her from a family members friend who was giving a litter away. It felt like a sign and I couldn’t say no. Since then Ivy has become a family member in our household and is loved by every single one of us. Since a kitty, she’s been curious and independent. She’s always seeking adventure and does it without any fear.

Ivy suddenly came down with mild symptoms that developed into critical ones within just a few days. She became extremely lethargic and weak. She came down with loss of appetite and vomiting. After rushing her to Dove Lewis Animal Hospital, Dr. Minamoto concluded that Ivy was extremely sick. Having 10x the normal kidney values, and high phosphates, she was diagnosed with acute kidney disease.

Ivy is such a loving girl in her own way. She has a unique personality that just speaks to you. She’s sassy, confident, independent, and likes to stand her ground. You can always find her in a new spot sleeping in the silliest position. Aside from her silly side, she has the most beautiful soul. Ivy loves toys and getting into things she shouldn't just to test the boundaries.

I am a young student in college and the primary caretaker of Ivy.It breaks my heart seeing her in the condition she is at such a young age. She truly changed my life and showed me happiness when I needed it most.I love her and I’m not ready to lose her.She’s my pride and joy
