About this campaign
Ivy came into our lives almost 4 years ago. She was a little pup who had been neglected and kept outside. She is a spunky little girl who loves to play with a frisbee or ball. She loves her other rescued brothers, and sisters. After rescuing her we immediately started to train her. She is incredibly smart and loving.
Ivy loves being loved, and giving love. She comes up to sit with us, and just lays directly on us. She gives the sweetest kisses, and loves when family and friends come to visit. She is a bit shy at first, but as soon as she is comfortable expect lots of snuggles! She is such a sweet girl who loves life!
My husband and I both have full time jobs, but are still catching up after both being laid off for over a year during the pandemic. We've had some financial set backs and were not anticipating a huge vet bill. We have no back up for this situation, and could use any help.
Ivy has never had any issues until she started getting ear infections a year ago. We thought they were chronic and would always need medicine. Turns out she has masses the growing in both ears. After many vet visits with Dr. Dutra at Rivers Urgent Care in Pittsburgh, we got a referral to go to PVSEC to meet Dr. Saile for further help.
Ivy loves being a goofball. She likes to stand like a person and lean up against her dad and myself for chest pets. She will run a grab her ball or frisbee and 'tall' and throw the ball towards us. She loves to lay in bed with us on her back, head on the pillow and under the covers like a human. She loves watching tv in bed with us.
