Ivy is a sweet 7 year old husky mix. She was welcomed into my life as a puppy when I was informed there was a litter that were going to be placed in a shelter if no one claimed them. So I went straight over and Ivy and her brother Bear were inseparable and I knew they had to come home with me.

Ivy was recently diagnosed with mammary carcinoma 3/21/25. This was unexpected finding when we went for a regular check up. She is still very young and active so we want to provide the best treatment and try and beat the odds.

Ivy is a beautiful, loving and a gift, a big part of our family. She has such a humor, makes everyone laugh with her silly facial expressions, her joyful and playful self will always find a way to make you laugh and play. She is talkative and will always express how she feels. She makes everyone’s day with her smile. It brightens anyone’s day. Her kisses heal anyone’s heart.

Financially, I’m a student, working part time, coming off an abusive relationship. Ivy, Bear and myself are still healing from the trauma we developed.
