Ivy is a 2 year old Old English Bulldog in Port Jervis, NY, who needs $5,000 for BOAS Surgery.

We got Ivy after our 15 year old Maltese mix passed away. We were so heart broken and not looking for another dog at the time. A post was made by Ivys owner and we fell in love. Ivy has been doing well until recently. We have been noticing heat in tolerance and when she plays she’s getting out of breath easily.

We took Ivy to Catskill Vet in Rock hill NY and had a consultation. Ivy needs BOAS surgery. Ivy was not having breathing issues until recently. Our primary vet does not do this type of surgery.

Ivy loves everyone. She is so sweet and loves to cuddle. She is also so funny and loves to play with her cousin dog. She adores her toys and only bones last because she chews them until the stuffing comes out!

We have pet insurance. We have to pay for the surgery and then get reimbursed. The pet insurance can’t tell us if it will be covered. I’m on disability because of neck and back surgeries.
