Iyla came into our lives as a rescue kitty when she was dumped. She was a kitten. She is 12 years old & an absolute sweetheart. I have never seen a cat in my life that is as affectionate as she is. She wants to be loved 24/7. Our family has been through a hard situation with one family member having been on life support & not able to work as they recover so money to help Iyla is just not there.

This situation is really urgent. Her tooth is rotten and our vet says it needs to come out ASAP. We are now on the second round of antibiotics trying to hold the infection at bay while we try to raise the money. While the antibiotics work it doesn’t last a long time and then she is sick and in pain again. It hurts so bad to see her go through this and not be able to help her.

When her tooth is not making her sick & feel bad she loves to be held & participate in everything going on in the family. She sits in the kitchen and watches me cook, sleeps with me at night, and loves to use her scratching pad. She easily walks on a leash but does not like to go outside. Her favorite toys are a crinkle cucumber and a bird that flaps & make tweets. She also loves sunning herself

6 months my spouse became ill & ended up in the hospital for two months & was on life support some of that time. They ended up having to have surgery also. It will a long time before they will be able to hold a job again. That cut our income in half. I work full time.
