Hi everyone. My name is Lauren and I am 28. My dog is Izzy. My mother gave her to me when I was 16 years old and we have been inseparable ever since. She is my entire universe. I am a very low class worker and just recently moved to Austin Texas with her. Which the sudden health crisis of my baby and its rapid decline I am in desperation. Looking in every corner possible to find a way to help her.

From the beginning as a puppy Izzy has been a burst of energy. This is a big dog in a tiny dog body. She is what I call my Dora the Explorer. Loves to hike, swim, trails, running. You name it she loves it. Always searching always exploring. Since a puppy Izzy has been attached to my hip. From high school, starting college, getting my license, moving out on our own together. She’s my rock

Izzy is all for Izzy. My princess. She is so sweet very soft with children it melts my heart. Even at the age of 12 Izzy STILL loves to play. Good tempered but definitely wants all the human’s attention. If you start petting her she will demand more when you stop. Paw on your hand and a cry for more. It always makes me laugh. The princess demands the love. She loves car rides. Head out the window.

Izzy is a very athletic healthy dog who takes supplements and things all senior related. But something happened, one day she cried out in pain and ever since has not spotted. She walks with a head tilt and one moment will be back to her old self and the next screaming in pain.
After a few vet visits it seems that her spinal disks on her neck have been damaged. Just like that..

This has been so unbelievably unexpected that I have absolutely nothing to financially help my baby. She needs an mri scan to first determine her spine and brain. I have no idea what’s to come. She’s not ready to go. Izzy is still so full of life I want to give her a fair chance.
