Jace came into me and my daughters life March of 2013, we had just went into the shelter to look and there he was, the only dog that wasn’t barking or begging for attention. He sat there with the saddest face and I could not hold back my tears. He came home to his forever home and has blessed us with his sweetness and love overwhelming affection. He is by far that best dog I have ever had.

There are no other pets in our home, he doesn’t like other dogs and just shoos them away. He LOVES his family. He’s so eager to see please. He enjoys his bones and just being with us. He loves his back rubs and that’s the first thing he wants after we come home. He’s such a sweet boy.

Jace loves his peanut butter bones, he also loves salad and fruit. He just has a very sweet disposition, he’s afraid of fly’s when they get in the house and he tune to the bedroom when they come in. He howls every month when the testing of the tornado alarms go off. He use to like to cause big ups trucks, but he can’t do that anymore. He loves his dog bed a lot. He lays there alot.

Jace has a torn ACL in his right leg. He was trying to chase a chicken and when he turned around somehow he tore it. It’s been painful for him and I can’t afford the surgery. His vet is at the St. Louis humane society in Maryland heights. He’s been on pain medication for it which seems to help. He still limps and I just feel so bad that I can’t afford the surgery for my baby.

I am a single mom on disability but I do work part time as well because I have to to survive. My rent as gone up 125.00 more along with everything else going up. If you could please help my boy I would be forever grateful.
