Jack is a 10-year-old Maine Coon in Austin, TX, who needs $930 for Dental Procedure Tooth Extraction.

Jack was found (along with his friend Leo) in someone's house. The both of them had found an open window and let themselves in. They had been apparently been abandoned by their previous human and at no point has someone come forward to claim them. They were rescued by Pawsitive Karma, and after some foster and medical care, they were placed up for adoption.

Jack is the dominant member of the household. He rules both me and Leo with a soft paw. It took a few months for him to get use to me and he would sleep in the bathroom cabinet under the sink. Somehow he just knew there would be a soft pile of clean towels there. But now as soon as I have pulled my covers up to my shoulder, Jack is already waiting and hops right into bed right next to me.

I am a disabled Veteran with a high rating of disability with the VA. I have not been able to work even part time in six years. Jack needs an estimate of $1030 of dental work to significantly improve his quality of life.

When I got Jack, he was a drooler. I found out at his first vet appointment at Thrive Vet at Petco with Dr. Hayes, he has serious dental problems. He needs extensive dental extractions and his condition has progressed to where he is now bleeding from his nose and mouth. He is losing weight he can not afford to lose and I feed him chicken broth with his wet food to get him to eat.

He loves to snuggle with me and if I even sit down on the bed to look at my phone, he hops up right next to me to cuddle me. Oddly, he runs whenever he sees a UPS truck out the balcony window, but he loves to listen to fireworks from the same window. He has trouble looking me in the eye and getting pictures where he is looking at the camera was quite the challenge. He has obviously had some abuse.
