Jack Black is a 6 month old Mix-Breed in Seattle, WA, who needs $2,000 for Foreign Object Removal Surgery.

Jack, "Jackie," came to us in Jan 2024, now 6 months old. He came from another family that could not support him & his sister. In fact, we got to name them. Their owners feared attachment.
Jack Black was named after the actor & because of his beautiful black coat. My son Jagger named him. Addison, my daughter named Calica. However, we tend to get their names mixed up, calling them Max & Gidget.

Unfortunately, Jackie ate some string that wrapped around his tongue & went through to his colon. I noticed a problem when he started throwing up multiple times Monday. I went to the emergency vet, then, for the next two days, my local vet, Columbia City Vet Hospital. Today was his surgery and the Dr ended up cutting out a big portion of his intestines- something that might hinder him in life.

The 2 of them are a package deal. They love on each other. They play & fight with each other. While I can't tell you which was born first, Jackie acts like the protective older brother, whereas "Calie" is the wild child and doesn't understand the word no.
Both kitties cuddle up with their human counterparts. It's adorable!

Last December, I was awarded a DVPO against my husband. Since moving out of the house, he's refused to contribute to joint bills. Money is so tight that I can't afford to ask the courts for him to pay up & start the divorce process. These furbabies are my emotional support❣️
