Jack is a 8 year old Miniature Schnauzer in Kelliher, MN, who needs $100 for Rabies and Distemper Vaccines.

I welcomed Jack into my home in 2020. His name when I got him was Bullit which didnt suit him at all so I started callung him Jack in which he adapted to right away. He came from an abusive home and was going to be shot if a home wasnt found for him. He was very skittish and easily intimidated but after a short time he adjusted well and is a completely different dog now. He is a very smart dog.

I dont know anything about his medical background. His main medical need now is vaccines. He is an ESA dog and in order for me to keep him in my apartment , he has to have current updated vaccines, which is distemper and rabies as far as Im aware. These are necessary in order to get a mandatory city dog license as well.

Jack makes friends easily with other dogs but his favorite froend is my cat Leo whom Ive also rescued years ago. He loves doggie treats , minty bones are his favorite and also loves ice cubes to eat for a treat. He was very afraid of men when I got him and very leary of children. In hos former home ots my understanding thst the man and kids were his abusers. He now loves everyone .

I became physically and mentally ill in 2021 and lost my job. Im still waiting on social security disability and currently get 350.00 a month in cash assistance so I cannot afford any vet care , vaccines etc...and rarely can afford food for him. He is my everything .
