About this campaign
My daughter had been seriously ill and begged for a "tiny" dog. She saved all her Birthday money and asked for puppy related items. July 4th 2010 this 3 month old, 5lb boy changed our lives forever.. Like Clifford the Big Red Dog he grew with all our ❤ to be 18lb. Not so tiny dog. He is my best friend and confident. Always ready to attack with kisses. I call him my Lickopotamus.
He quickly became my dog and although he snuggles with my daughter, he stole my heart and follows me everywhere.
As a puppy, he would play hide and seek with the kids and run like crazy through the house finding them. His antics always makeme to smile. He loves to play fetch. Typically he gets the ball, runs in the opposite direction of me. I fetch and throw again. We know who's in control.
Much to Jack's dismay. Our cocker spaniel Alistair "Al" joined our family 7 years ago. The boys get along mostly with a bit of sibling Rivalry.
Jack protects us from TV animals. Barking and jumping. I'm so grateful he saves us from the flat screen beasts.
He sleeps in the crook of my arm every night, with covers no mayter the season. Home is wherever he is.
Jack requires dental surgery with extractions. Antibiotics helped but infections come back. He is thinner, less active and has a difficult time eating. Dr Cox at Norwichtown Veterinary Hospital is his doctor and she will perform the procedure under general anesthesia. We're confident that he'll feel so much better and be back to his shenanigans in no time.
We recently moved, and are living paycheck to paycheck without any buffer. I'm not an extravagant person and not afraid of hard work. It's trying sometimes. Having Jack in my life is the bright spot on the darkest days.
