About this campaign
I acquired Jack from a friend who said she was going to turn him over to the Humane Society because her kids were not taking care of him. I asked her to bring him by to see if could get along with my female dog Max. Found out his name was Max too so I changed it to Jack, so to me it seemed destined that I would keep him.
Jack's hair grows very long and I didn't notice he had a bump on his head, on his right front leg and on his tail. The vet said he would need to lance it in order to remove the bumps and he has an incontinence issue. He kept chewing on his tail so I wrapped it in gauge and covered it with surgical tape, then had to get him a collar but he managed to keep getting to his tail.
Jack is very laid back and is friendly with people even when meeting them for the first time. My female dog Max passed away from cancer in 2018 but two puppies. One (male) looks like her and a female (Roxy) looks like Jack. I still have Tobey and Roxy was adopted cause I couldn't afford to keep three dogs. Both Jack and Tobey are a special part of the family and it would be hard to lose him.
Jack's tail is nearly bitten off (I can provide pictures) and he desperately needs the surgery to get rid of the bumps and might have to get his tail amputated. I don't make enough money to pay for the surgery and medications needed afterwards.
