Jada Jean Reynolds is a 8-year-old Doberman in Granite City, IL, who needs $1,839 for Chemotherapy.

I was blessed with Jada on July 31st 2014. I had just lost my beloved dog Lyla to a Grand Mal seizure & was heart broken. I didn’t want another dog. I wanted Lyla back. My boyfriend came to me & said “ I found Governor.” Governor was my childhood dobey. I told him let’s go get her. I kneeled in front of all the pups & this amazing baby girl squirmed over & put her head on my knee & I was in love.

Jada is the biggest ham. Her bark can be scary to those who don’t know her and I love that. For those she lets through the door she greets with a sniff and shows them to the location of her treat basket. Once they take a seat Jada demands their attention by nosing her way under your arm and lifting until your hand falls on her for pets. I have never had a dog this charismatic,intuitive,and smart.

I say to Jada daily,” if you only had thumbs.” Jada, I am told, acts just like me! My friends say she even walks like me. Jada goes to work with me almost everyday but on the days she doesnt she’s at home. Upon entering into my home after work & only at this time you find Jada on the couch smiling, her lip curled up, nothing but gums & teeth showing. That goofy smile makes me forget any bad day.

Jada has been healthy as an ox with no prior medical problems at all. While petting her I noticed her neck lymph nodes are swollen and continued to find all are swollen. Her vet gave antibiotics hoping it was an infection and they didn’t work. She is believed to have Lymphoma.

I was on medical leave without pay for a Laparotomy surgery. I have been on bed rest three months. I just went back to work and am struggling badly. I promised that if something happened to her I would go broke trying to help her. She’s my everything. My best friend. <3
