Jade is a 2-year-old Mixed Large Breed in Rochester, NY, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery (Bilateral) Cranial Cruciate Ligament Repair.

Jade is a rescue whom I saw while volunteering at the animal shelter, she melted my heart right from the start and I just had to adopt her. She is such a happy girl and loves kids and people more than loves her doggy friends. It is so amazing how loving pets can be and they bring such joy to our lives. I am truly blessed to have my Jade in my life.

Jade lives with her fur baby family which includes Onyx and Nala her kitty friends who are also rescues. Nala is still a kitten so she is full of energy and loves to tease Jade every chance she gets. Jade absolutely loves when my niece and nephews come to our place, because she loves kids and that makes me happy, as certain dog breeds are so misunderstood.

Jade gets very excited when her friends Lila and Benji come to meet us for a walk. Jade gets so excited and her laugh sounds like a hyena, everyone can hear her, because she is so load and it makes people stop and laugh. Every time we try to go for a walk my girl just stops, drops and rolls on her back and loves the snow and the water.

Jade was just diagnosed with having to have TPLO surgery on both of her back legs , which is like a human having two torn ACL's. It breaks my heart to see my vibrant, happy girl limping and struggling to get up and down the stairs. We just met with Dr. James Klovstad at Coldwater Animal Hospital on Thursday evening to talk about the surgery for Jade.

This is a huge expense having to come up with almost $10,000, not to mention I have to try to find us a new place to live with no stairs and it is so hard finding a place who will accept a large breed dog. I do not not have the funds to pay for her surgery.
